How to find your purpose in life

We are all born into a certain family, in a certain place at a certain time. We begin to form ideas and beliefs about the world around us including our relatives, friends and what is possible for them and ourselves. As children we would have big dreams about what and who we wanted to be when we grew up.

Then we as got older and life got tough with bills to pay, responsibilities, even our own children to care for, we forgot what it is to be that child with unlimited potential.

Let us remember who we are by quieting the mind, the voices – external and internal. Let us turn down all the noise and come to the stillness inside of ourselves only found in peaceful and intentional mediation. Here are some tips to help you on your journey.

1. Meditation

Start with a mindfulness video on YouTube or download a Meditation App (I use the Insight Timer). Start getting quiet and alone with the inner child inside and let that child speak once again and reveal what it is, we are here on this earth to do. The child will speak when we are still and listening.

Once we find out what that dream was, it is our responsibility to bring forth that dream into the 3rd dimension. That Dream is the Calling – the Purpose for our existence. If it is not us to bring it to be, then who? No one else can hear the calling, because it is our calling and ours alone.

Being brave enough to act on that voice is not easy. Most of the time we do not know how it will happen. That is okay. All we need to discover is the what and the why and the Universe will conspire with us and deliver the how.

2. Surround yourself with supportive people

Surrounding ourselves with people who hold similar beliefs and support us is crucial when bringing forth our purpose to the world. In order to disable the limited beliefs that have long reigned over our lives we must replace them with limitless ones. The company we keep is vital in this process. As is the new information that we take in.

3. Feed your mind with knowledge

95% of our actions are a result of our subconscious mind, meaning we do not even realize why or how we respond or react to the situations and circumstances around us. The first step is to become mindful (which will strengthen your meditations) and the second is to feed the brain NEW information that creates these NEW beliefs that embody the vibrations and the frequencies of the lives we wish to live.

The books, podcasts, shows and influencers we follow and absorb are all essential keys to creating new neuropathways so that our thoughts become different thoughts thus our actions become different actions and our habits become better and different habits and our lives become the lives we intentionally select.

Start researching the Neurological Findings of Dr. Joe Dispenza that provides the evidence and instructions on exactly how to create new brain wiring to alter our current state of thinking into the framework of the mind of the person we wish to become and how doing so can actually change our genetic makeup. We essentially are able to change who we are at a genetic and cellular level with the power of our consciousness and intentional practice.

Start delving into the guidance of Bob Proctor on shifting our Paradigms and creating the life we want by utilizing the basic Laws of the Universe and Quantum Physics to our favor.

Coming face to face with the unlimited power of our Consciousness and tapping into that Divine Source is exactly where you will find your Purpose or your Dharma. This is know as a combination of our passion, expertise and usefulness as Jay Shetty so skillfully explains in his book “Think Like a Monk”.

The so call limits that we believe are controlling our lives are not what it is controlling our lives but rather our conscious awareness of these thoughts that limit us within the constraints of the constructs of our minds or enable the manifestation of an abundant, limitless existence of love and purpose that is available to all that seek it. All these books are available on Amazon. Feel free to check them out linked above.
