How This Gaming PC Company Destroyed Itself in One Night

Welcome to FrankLegend.com where we review the most viral content online. Today we discuss how Artesian Builds ran itself into bankruptcy. This article is for anyone who is curious with the story of Artesian Builds, its CEO Noah Katz,  Kiapiaa and more.

Twitch is a video live streaming service that focuses on video games and other content. Many people have turned to Twitch as their full time job and make a living playing video games.

Artesian Builds was a custom PC-building service that did giveaways to small Twitch streamers. They would select a streamer at random and build their PC in their livestreams. But things weren’t so simple as it appeared.

However, after some controversy with the CEO Noah Katz, Twitch Streamer Kiapiaa and other streamers receiving PCs that weren’t properly built everything went downhill from there. With the result being the shut down of the company with them auctioning their assets.

During one of Artesian Builds livestreams, CEO Noah Katz, was randomly picking a Twitch Streamer to win one of their custom PCs and the winner was Kiapiaa. Shortly after he denied her the prize. Noah said he had to make sure that the person receiving the PC was “deserving of it”

While doing a background check on Kiapiaa he said that she didn’t have enough of a following to be “worthy” of the PC. He proceeded to begin judging her social media saying that even with with all her followers combined she still wasn’t “worthy ” of the PC. He then happily re-rolled for another winner.

After the livestream Noah faced backlash from Big Twitch streamers, viewers and the general public. With him under fire it was later revealed that Noah was accused of tax evasion after the company’s business license in California was forfeited.

In some livestreams Noah would even ask the fans of the Twitch streamer who’s PC they would currently be building to pay them so they can build it better. Artesian Builds was also bashed for copying designs from V1 TECH. After the large amount of criticism and drop in sales Artesian Builds was officially shut down March 8th 2022.

Currently Artesian Builds is currently bankrupt and selling all their assets. Ex CEO Noah Katz is currently residing in New Jersey with his wife and two sons and is actively involved in local community organizations. Kiapiaa still streams and has gained much recognition due to this controversy.

The repercussions of the company are still lingering with some streamers who paid for their custom PCs were left with no refunds. Several Twitch streamers are now much more hesitant with other PC Companies doing giveaways and so forth.

Final Thoughts

When it comes to making a company it’s easy to cut corners and go the easy route. However it’s important that the companies that do this remember that nothing lasts forever and they there will be repercussions. Artesian Builds is one of the most recent examples of this.
