How To Get Started On Twitch 🥺 in 2022 || Beginner's Guide To Streaming

Welcome to FrankLegend.com where we review the most viral content online. Today we discuss How To Get Started On Twitch in 2022. This article is for anyone who is curious on how to get started on Twitch.

Twitch is a video live streaming service that focuses on video games and other content. Many people have turned to Twitch as their full time job and make a living playing video games.

When it comes to streaming on Twitch it is important that streamers remember the 5 Qualities they MUST have to be a good streamer.

  • Be Entertaining: It is important to remember that as a content creator they have one objective, create content that people like.
  • Consistent schedule & Good Vibes: It is important to keep things organized when it comes to streaming. Having an outgoing and happy personality will help in making your stream get noticed
  • Self Awareness: It is important that streamers be self aware of who they are, what they do and how they do it so fans can relate or understand them better.
  • Being innovative: Coming up with new ideas, making future plans and fixing problems of the stream will make streamers come off as someone who knows what they’re doing.
  • Leadership: Being a leader means to have motivation in what you do as well as connecting and helping your followers as well.

Having goals is important to have especially if you’re a streamer. Having a goal in mind will help people in the long run and give them something to focus on when they lose motivation. If a streamers goal is to reach 1000 followers in 3 months then they will try to think of ways to reach that goal.

They will maybe think of how to better the streams, network with other streamers on the same level as them, be more focused on their chat, etc. That streamer knows they have challenges ahead with that goal but they may make more progress then a streamer who said they want 1000 followers in 1 year.

To be entertaining means to capture and hold the audiences attention. Streamers have to remember to not have long radio silence. It shows that they aren’t that entertaining and don’t have much to offer content wise in the long run.

They have to be energetic and talk to their chat. As well as have high quality gameplay if they do that genre of content. If they do create gaming content, it is important to remember to narrate what is going on so that the audience doesn’t get confused.

The number one way to gain followers and grow on Twitch is to make good content and stay consistent. While “good content” is subjective, it is important that streamers realize that there is always something they can improve upon.

Streamers have to understand their identity and using it to their advantage. A streamers identity can be a funny guy who cracks jokes but when they get angry they instantly become good at the game is one example.

Pacing oneself is very important. A streamer must know their limits and be able to slowly get better with every stream. Burn out isn’t a bad thing, too much of something will take a toll eventually. It is good for streamers to remember that they’re human and deserve a break as well.

Common signs of burnout include being cynical or bursts of anger, making excuses to cancel streams because they just don’t feel motivated, being affected by trolls, becoming sensitive to their communities jokes and forcing themselves to stream longer and longer.

It is important that streamers know that Twitch has a culture of its own. The Twitch community has its own emotes, phrases, etc. Knowing more about the Twitch community will help streamers in staying up to date with the latest news.

Twitch has an abundance of content creators who are competing with one another. A streamer who is aware of what is going on around them and uses that information to get ahead of the rest is someone who will go far in their career.
